Marion Bronze Company was established in 1921 by my maternal grandparents, Arthur and Marion France. Their house and adjacent manufacturing plant were located in Metuchen, NJ, on Plainfield Road. The business continued to be operated until 1958 when the France's retired and sold the property and business.
I have seen another photo of these on the internet. I have a pair but they actually say "The Old Professor" on the back instead of being blank like in most pictures. They are great and heavy.
